As an Enrollment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in recruiting and supporting prospective students, helping them explore the distinct educational experience that Warren Wilson offers. This role will serve as a first point of contact to leads that request additional information, including email, text and phone calls. The Enrollment Coordinator will help foster strong relationships and guide prospective students as they take steps toward enrollment. The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, and passionate about helping students find their place within our unique community. This position may require occasional weekend hours and travel for recruitment events.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates degree or two years of equivalent experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to creating a positive and supportive experience for prospective students.
  • Experience with google workspace, including gmail, drive, sheets and docs.
  • A genuine interest in and enthusiasm for Warren Wilson’s mission, values, and unique educational model.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people from a diverse range of identities and experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency utilizing the Slate CRM or a similar recruitment system.
  • Prior work experience with admissions requirements and processes, and scholarship and financial aid resources in higher education.

Key Responsibilities

Engage and Communicate with Prospective Students:

  • Respond to inquiries from prospective students promptly and professionally, offering clear and accurate information about Warren Wilson’s programs, campus life, and the admissions process. Utilize Slate CRM to manage communications via email, text, and phone calls, ensuring that all interactions are logged and followed up on consistently.

In-Person Support During Campus Visits:

  • Meet with prospective students and their families during campus visits to offer assistance, address questions, and ensure a positive, welcoming experience. Provide personalized campus tours and share insights about the Warren Wilson College experience.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Consistently update Slate CRM with accurate records of all prospective student interactions. Provide weekly reports to the Director of Admissions on prospect quality, student pipeline updates, and feedback from prospective students to inform recruitment strategies.
