We are seeking a student-centered and forward-thinking professional who can translate theoretical frameworks and best practices of inclusive excellence into tangible, impactful programming. The ideal candidate will bring both professional expertise and personal passion to developing innovative initiatives that foster intercultural competence across our campus community. The Assistant Director will support our LGBTQIA+ student community while also working across multiple identities and intersectionalities. Crew Supervision:
The OIE Crews currently (may change and adapt to changing student needs) consist of students working within five Impact Focus Areas (IFAs): (1) Race, Ethnicity, & Nationality, (2) Gender & Sexuality, (3) Religion, Spirituality, & Interfaith Engagement, (4) Abilities, Disabilities, & Wellness, and (5) First Generation + (includes Political Philosophy, Class Status, etc.). OIE crews provide programs campus-wide, and emphasize collaboration and address identity intersections.
Club Supervision:
OIE Clubs currently (may change and adapt to changing student needs) includes the following: ACC (Asian Culture Club), BSU (Black Student Union), ISA (Indigenous Student Association), LSC (Latinx Student Collective), SWANAA (South West Asian North African Alliance), and WWC (World Wide Club).
